Despite having city water, we have an unusual amount of lime and other minerals in our water. Our toilets look disgusting in less that a year. No amount of cleaning with a regular toilet brush even touches the problem. Buy a new toilet ever year? I saw this product, brush on a drill. I already have several cordless drills why not give it a try. So I figured I try it to clean our toilet. I used this brush and KRC7 Bathroom Cleaner Restorer, and ordered several other Drill Brushes with varying shapes and bristle strength and went to work on our toilet. I knew it would take awhile. Our toilet came out looking better than new. If I had even though it would have come out looking half this good I would have been happy. It would have made excellent before and after photos. When I showed my wife she couldn't believe it was the same toilet. I used it on our other toilet with the same fantastic results. I have since bought several brushes of different configurations and bristle strength for our fiberglass shower and sinks. Like my wife said its like one of the "Wonders of the World". Love this product. ( a tip I used the brush to force water down the trap in the toilet so there was very little water in the trap. This gave the cleaner more strength as it was not diluted and I could use the drill without getting water in the motor)Who would have known that something so simple could make cleaning so much easier. I was surprised at how well my Drill Brush worked. I was so impressed that I sent one to each of my daughters and I'll be sending one to my brother for his birthday. This thing is great! As an example - our kitchen sink is old and it has some rust stain around the drain. I have scrubbed that stuff with a scrub brush so many times I can't even count. It comes off a little, but it's always there. So the other day I took some scouring powder and my Drill Brush and went to town. MAN! The stain came off. It looks great! The Drill Brush is a great value and will be my go-to tool for cleaning jobs from now on. LOVE MY DRILL BRUSH!I bought 2 of these brushes to try to get gunk out from between tiles in the bathroom shower. The first attempt worked fairly wall but I think I need to get in there and spend a lot of time to get it clean. It is a tough brush and I think it will last a long time. If you're doing the same thing, just make sure you are using it on grout because it will certainly pull caulk out from between the bottom tiles and the shower floor.. That fact just informed me that I need to mix up some grout and replace the caulk. The two I just bought were to replace one I had already worn out--been using it to clean out cracks in the concrete under the rock in my yard prior to replacing the rock. It works like a charm, and it held up well, but finally wore down and had to be replaced. The fact that I ordered two new ones should tell you all you need to know.First off, the shaft is designed to fit a hex shaped spring locking sleeve chuck which is what I have on my Makita cordless drill. But the finish was so rough that I had to file it down to get it into the chuck. Then I used the brush on the hard water deposits in the toilet bowl. Although the bristles are very stiff they were not up to the job and made no difference in the toilet bowl. Dissapointed.Second, the stiff, hard bristles are a bit too much for cleaning the spokes on my motorcycle wheels. I will likely need a less stiff brush for that job. That is all I have tried at this point and though it did not do what I wanted, there will likely be some other jobs where it will work fine.I wish they made one with a long stem for cleaning my beer bottles.I used this as soon as I got it! I wish I had found this product years ago. It takes the work out of cleaning my bathroom tiles and grout Spray your favorite cleaner on the floor, attach the brush to your drill (I use a household 12v) and with a little pressure, move over the floor with ease! TaDa - my floors sparkle. I can tell you that I have a 5 year old, a medium sized dog and I use perfume and hairspray on a daily basis so my bathroom floors get a variety dirt and it all came up with ease with this little gem!I used the DrillBrush to clean a BBQ Smoker and grill. It worked great at cleaning the surface dirt and burnt on stuff but the bristles were probably too soft to really scrape the deep burned on grease. I do recommend this product though and I can see there would be a million uses for it.All that needs to be said is block out a week once you get this as it takes about that amount of time to use this brush for all it does. It helped with a ton of chores and projects. After a week, 35 18 volt batteries, and a grip of Advil I grew tired of all the fun produced by using this thing. Everything in my house, garage, and cars is properly cleaned, deeply cleaned.Description says it is effective in cleaning ovens. It isn't. We are not talking about heavily crusted grime here. This is a 9 month old oven which gets thoroughly cleaned regularly. I bought this to save time and effort. But it had no effect on the baked on food residues. A green nylon scourer plus elbow grease was much more effective. It might be effective for other tasks though. Not recommended.Doesn't do what it says. When mine arrived I used it to clean my stove. It didn't clean my stove, instead the "tough, durable bristles" all started to come off. Disappointed to have spent £25 on something that can't even be used once without it coming apart.Brilliant device, we use it for cleaning drinking troughs on the farm. It has made this job easy !Excellent item. we are actually using it for a commercial cleaning application and stands up very well to daily significant use. Would recommend this product.Save a lot of time with it
