Works well, but only rated 4 stars as the paint has already began chipping just after a week.This small brush fits nicely in my hand and in my cosmetic bag. It effectively brushed away tangles with leaving my hair staticky. Perfect!I bought this thinking I'd keep it in my purse or car so I could brush my hair away from home. It turned out to be just fine in my purse, it wasn't too big that I felt the need to put it somewhere in my car instead. I've just started using boar bristle brushes, and the combination of longer plastic pins and the bristles is perfect! My hair looks really nice after I brush it with this, and it de-tangles my thicker hair better than a bristle only brush. Also, I love love love the color, it's just as pictured and complements my dark teal blue purse really well.Love this brush. Happy that it is purse side. My hair feels silky and more shiny after I brush my hair Good purchase.I ordered this because I needed a small brush to keep in my purse, I had no idea that it would be so great in every way -- how it feels on the head, especially -- not harsh like some boar bristle brushes, but not too soft; more like a wonderful scalp massage with each brushing. And it's very well crafted. I've ordered a second one for my everyday bathroom hairbrush! Five stars.The brush is great detandler but I have thick hair and have to do in pieces.
