Not even a mixture, just all black plastic bristles! Due to RSV & moving I could not return in time. The plastic bristles do not go through even my fine hair after air drying. I paid for a brush that would be a pleasure to do 100 strokes with but it did not work as well as other brand synthetic. Then the plastic bristles started to fall to when I gently by hand removed hair before or after washing the brush!!
